The frogs are back in our pond, like every year. Our record is eight. So far, we counted four, in various sizes. (There’s two in this picture…)

Cool indeed! Though they like to climb on the stone edges of the pond to warm up -- then they're pretty toasty. ;)

I like having frogs in the pond -- they do keep the mosquitos under control.

Frogs scare the crap out of me, even though they're completely harmless. Hahaha :)

But still cool :)

Haha, no worries! :D perhaps I'd feel better about them if I actually tried going near one. (I think this is caused by a horrid memory from the girls locker room in school, where there was a giant frog in the showers. We had to go get the boys!! Hahahaha!! They were laughing so hard!)

There is a very large pond in the park behind our house, so I guess we have a long line of 'colonists' in our pond. But they keep coming back and spawning, so I guess our pond has a certain draw for them. At least we don't have a heron visiting our garden, unlike the big pond in the park out back!
