Ouch, my back!

Yesterday, when I put something back on the ground, I felt a sharp pang of pain in my lower back. It didn't seem that bad at the time, but when I brought rupertdaily back to the trainstation after our session of Continuum, I had distinct trouble walking and getting up the stairs.
I've tried sleeping on my back, and only succeeded partly -- the pain kept me awake for most of the time. When I had to make a trip to the toilet, I didn't know how to get out of bed... I got dizzy and nauseated from the pain -- cold sweat and everything.

So today, I called in sick. I can't sit still for 8 hours. In fact, I don't know what to do: whatever I do, my back hurts. The cat is running around, and I want to pet him, but I don't know if I'll be able to get up again if I did.

Today promises much more suckage of the same sort.
