Slowly swinging upwards again...

Like klik already wrote, I had another accident. While I was tking off my coat, the car door blew open -- against the car next to ours. This resulted in a very noticable dent... I wrote a note and stuck it under the windscreen wiper when I got back from Eindhoven.

That seemed to be the low-point of the week. From then on, things went better.
The Amber campaign was... interesting, and a lot of intrigues are forming. Our characters are in the middle of things, and it seems like Martin's mother-in-law-to-be is screwing things up most royally. Maybe I have to talk to her about it, maybe I should just let Caine's assassins kill her. All I have to do then, is to kill that other pretender to the throne, and Martin will be king of Sargante. That will strengthen his position...

Monday evening, the guy from the other car called. He praised me for my honesty: I could have just left things as they were, but I didn't. If it had happened to my car, I would wish that the other person would be honest too. I got good vibes from that -- he was very relaxed and reasonable about it, that's cool. We're going to let the insurance handle it all, it's more than half of the yearly insurance premium to fix it...

Yesterday, we cleaned the place up. I vacuumed, klik did the dishes. The house looks a lot better now. I also managed to get the laserprinter we got from my dad (it's an old one, an Everex LaserScript XL, that runs HP LaserJet II emulation) to print! Graphics are still out of the question, but at least I can print my texts for the writing course. And I paid for the mini-computer as well, via klik's internet banking. My payment has since been received by the organiser, so now I'm waiting for the rest of the buyers to send in their money so we can buy in bulk from the German webshop that specialises in Mini-ITX stuff.

Tonight, we'd have Continuum, but since rupertdaily and gijsje are ill, we're not playing. This suits me  well: I can work some more on my story for tomorrow, and perhaps program some more on my mediaplayer application. Right now I'm waiting for babarage to get her act together, so that we can play a game of Carcassonne online...
