First printing run

We still can't use the letters (yet) because we don't have the "white" to "fill out" the lines. But we do have a lino cut that klik made from a Japanese crane design. Using a block of wood (and some paper) we put it on the correct height ("Dutch height", about 2.48 cm) for the press.
And then we had a small print run, using a water-based block-print ink:

Worked quite well, but I had to apply a lot of ink. It didn't really spread out that well either -- I'm suspecting that water-based inks are not a good match for the press. Luckily, we also bought oil-based inks yesterday, so that'll be the next experiment.
