It is fun. I don't like the harder difficulty settings or the "you can't go to the store and are constantly in battle" modes, but for a late night low-intensity diversion it's good. Think I was on level 97 of the infinite dungeon (been playing for quite a while).
I've also been liking Castle Wars 2, but again, mostly at the easy level. When you get to medium your computer opponent has insanely powerful cards that you do not have.
Yes. It's really hard in the beginning, then there's lull before another hard section later (there's a boss creature that creates duplicates of your party that you have to kill), but after around the 30th floor there's really nothing unless you encounter a legendary beast.
I keep my current party around for late night "I want to play something mindless" times. At this point they throw away everything worth less than 6000.
