Instead of an online report of our vacation, we decided to write a book. In a physical book, you can glue the 'artifacts' of your day, such as entrance tickets, stamps of stations or attractions, receipts, etcetera. We've spent most evenings in Japan writing on paper -- but we also sent an email to the 'home front' every evening, as well as the occasional LJ entry. Our evenings were too short. ;)
So when we returned, we had a slight 'backlog' for the book. I've just finished writing the complete story.

Now all that's left is select photos, have those printed out and make a handsome book out of it. I think that might take another month -- we have a lot of photos to go through!
