Mar. 17th, 2010 @ 07:18 pm Cherry Blossom overload

Some things that we could do in Osaka:
- Go to Satsukiyama Park. It has only 4700 cherry trees;
- Go on a nightly cherry blossom viewing cruise down the river -- bento included;
- Go to a festival at the temple near our hotel...

I really recommend this site as a good resource for planning your trip!

Well, we have to be able to enjoy Kyoto and Tokyo too, so there's not much point in over-exterting ourselves in the first few days!

Hoi!

Ik kwam je tegen via de Ontdek de wereld community. Ik heb helaas geen tips voor je, maar je lijkt me wel leuk om te lezen. Zou ik je mogen adden?

I think I would choose the cruise. Because I already did a festival (in Sawara) and been to a park with lotsa cherrytrees (in Tokyo). And it's an opportunity to see the city from a different point of view.
Osaka is definitely on our next to-do list.

I think you should do two things:
1: Do something fun, in your current case with pretty cherry blossoms, every day
2: Make sure there's time to relax and put your feet up every day.
My two cents about holidays.

Well, cherry blossoms are certainly on the menu, but I'd love to combine it with a festival, a beautiful temple or an impressive castle. But I'm pretty sure we can manage that!
And yes, don't worry -- the Japanese bath is designed to be quite relaxing!
