Swap no more

Many times Calcifer would swap like crazy -- sometimes even minutes long, hanging my system. Calcifer has 1GB of RAM, which should be more than enough for running Firefox, Thunderbird and Deluge in parallel. And still it would often swap lots of stuff in and out of memory, churning the harddisk like crazy.
I read up on that stuff, and the winning tip is to decrease the 'swappiness' of the system -- default it's at 60, and I've set it to 10 now. And so far the swap hasn't been used at all, and everything is working -- fast, too!
