More stamps

Two recent stamps: Jimi Hendrix and a Tiger Lily:

A Tiger Lily, based on a Japanese woodcut. When I saw this design I knew I wanted to make a stamp of it: it's "negative" in the sense that it's the image you cut out, instead of everything that's not the image. The spots on the petals were pretty hard to get right, but I am very pleased with how it came out.
The stamp is about 10 x 6.5 cm.

I was working on a set when klik said: "Hey, can you do one of Jimi Hendrix!?" She managed to find a 'spray stencil' on the internet -- it's the prototypical portrait of Jimi. Again, many fine details -- his hair gave me the most trouble.
Maybe I should do a series of these, with Marilyn Monroe and Che Guevara as well -- they have these archetypical black-and-white shadow portraits that everyone recognises too.
This stamp is about 7 x 6 cm.
