Inverted Delft-ware card

When we were shopping last weekend, we came across a set of clear stamps featuring seventeenth-century Dutch architecture. The set also included a stamp for a bicycle (how typically Dutch!) and a cream-colored stamp pad.

Delft-ware has such houses in blue paint on a cream-coloured background, but since the stamp-pad was cream-coloured and I had blue cards lying around, I created a sort of 'inverted' Delft-ware card:

The stamps are quite detailed -- these are the four different designs. The set also included the same houses in a smaller form-factor, but I didn't use those. I also stamped the bicycle in red, to round out the colours of the Dutch flag.

Obviously, I sent these only to people outside the Netherlands, through Postcrossing. :)
