Working with stamps

I made my first postcard with stamps about a week ago. I just got around to sending it to gertvr, and he has received it -- so I can post pictures here without giving the surprise away.

The front. I got the color-effect by coloring the stamp with felt-tip pens and simply pressing that onto the paper. Then rinse it off with water, and color it in again...

The back. The leaf on the left was made by applying clear ink to a dark yellow piece of card stock, and applying heat-embossing-powder to the print. Then I applied my heat-gun to the paper, and the powder melted and fused with the paper, resulting in the 3D glossy ginko print.
The right side was made by using a small punch in the shape of a ginko leaf to a piece of the same card stock. Then I glued those onto the card.

I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out, and I'll be sure to use those techniques on other cards.
