The end of fair use?

Today, I got a mail from YouTube saying that they had removed my video of the xxxHolic monkey paw container, because the TBS had notified them it infringed on their copyrights.

Now, technically, one could make a case that the video constituted fair use: it's a series of outtakes from a fansub, showing the container itself. It doesn't (didn't) even have audio, so it's not like watching this is equal to watching an episode from DVD.
I'll let it slide, but it is a bit worrysome that all it takes is one DMCA notification and your stuff is deleted -- whether the charge is correct or not.

Something to think about for all those people who use Flickr and other websites as their primary repository of their creative output. Always keep a local backup!
