MPLAB irritation

Also, the device for which you compile the assembly is a global setting in MPLAB, the PIC assembly suite. You can't specify it in your project.

Which means that if you work on two projects for different chips, you have to switch back and forth. And scrolling through such a long list isn't anybody's idea of fun.
