The Nixienator

Of course, the 24 nixies I ordered were packaged in a box that once was filled with bottles of vodka -- they were shipped from Georgia, after all. The packaging was excellent, though: no breakages or anything.
I collected the box from the post office in the afternoon, and some people who visited my room (we tend to attract other engineers who come to us for advice) remarked on the box.

One colleague mentioned that his father had considered buying a nixie clock because he liked the look of it, but that the high prices (300 euros at a high-street shop in Nijmegen) deterred him. So when I had a clock available at a reasonable price, I should let him know...
