Apparently, if you search on Yahoo for '"binary led clock" schematic', my site pops up as first hit. It's the sixth hit (of any substance) on Google as well. (Incidentally, the fifth hit is my post about it on microcontroller.)
Which is how a Brit named Alan built his own clock. There seem to be a few bugs in the published assembly source, but after I sent him the source I use nowadays, his clock worked perfectly.

I am very pleased that my humble beginnings in electronics can serve to inspire other people as well. I have been promised pictures of the finished project once it has been mounted in a frame, too!
