There are two 'artsy' types in the group (one would rather just write a novel and not bother with short stories, the other wants to do autobiographical writing "because it's so therapeutic"). We have one guy who stutters. Nothing wrong with that, but it makes it hard to follow when he reads aloud what he has written.
We started with a few exercises, but I'm not entirely sure what we are learning by doing these. Perhaps it's just a way to gently lead into the more heavier stuff, but we'll see.
