We did have some trouble deciding how to install the halogen system -- we needed an extra set of cable-holders for the cable to make the corners we wanted, and the cable holders were not available separately... In the end, we decided to just run the cables diagonally through the room.
On an impulse, we also picked up a Spöka nightlight. Not because we're afraid of the dark (though sometimes we have every reason to be, with Chibi roaming the house at night), but because it was cute. The description is pretty funny: "Integrated lighting diodes -- approximately 50.000 hours of light". So no, you can't change the lightbulb when it breaks down -- but I'm pretty sure the nightlight will outlive a child's need for it. It's suited for kids aged 3 and up, and 6 hours per night makes for over 22 years of using this nightlight every night.
Don't you just love LEDs? I do. :)
