More stuff about me you didn't want to know

1 -- Leave a comment, saying you want to be interviewed.
2 -- I will respond; I'll ask you five questions.
3 -- You'll update your journal with my five questions, and your five answers.
4 -- You'll include this explanation.
5 -- You'll ask other people five questions when they want to be interviewed.

These questions are rupertdaily's.

1) Do you like living in the Netherlands and when would you consider leaving?
Yes, I like living in the Netherlands. Yes, most people are a bit rude and loud, but I feel at home here. I would consider leaving if a great opportunity would present itself. This could take many forms: a dream job (for either of us), a chance to broaden our horizons considerably, I don't know.

2) Why are the Japanese culture and language so important to you?
I've fallen in love with the Japanese way of storytelling, as employed in anime and manga. However, the Japanese culture shines through in almost every anime: if you don't know the Japanese obsession with bathing, you don't understand what all those bathing scenes are about. If you don't know anything about the school system, you don't understand what's so important about calling someone a sempai.
So, watching anime prompted me to learn more about the Japanese culture and society. I also learned a lot of Japanese words by simply watching the anime subbed -- apparently my neural 'language acquisition ciruitry' hasn't completely died off.
In conclusion: it's not important to me, but it is interesting because the Japanese have completely different sensitivities than we do, and it has helped me understand the stories they tell.

3) What RPG do you like but never played before, and would you like to try in the near future? Why?
Didn't need to think long about that: Nobilis. Why? Because it is completely different from what we know, and yet also takes elements from those known elements. It's like poetry in the form of an RPG.

4) What was the most important day in your life? And why?
I think the day that I entered university. Living on my own and attending university has allowed me to form myself as a person, and to grow into the person I am today.

5) You win a million euros in the lottery. What gift will you buy me?
Those expensive and rare-to-find Call of Cthulu sourcebooks that you don't already have.
