Current Mood: sore
Our shed is like a war-zone: lots of debris (most of it from three years ago, when the bathroom was renovated before we moved in), trash, semi-usefull stuff... all in a giant pile. I hadn't seen the back wall of our shed in years.
It's been on the 'to-do' list for as long as we live here. But I don't enjoy doing chores around the house -- I'd rather go geocaching. But yesterday, it was time to get to work on it. We started sorting, piling up, recycling and disposing. Now there are five bags of polystyreen waiting to be put to the curb tomorrow. We have three large boxes of paper waiting for collection day. And we have a lot of stuff that needs to be disposed of at the dump. We made one trip, and prepared the stuff for subsequent trips. Two, maybe three more trips, and we'll be able to use the shed as storage for useful stuff again. |
